Genshin Impact: How to solve the Reservoir puzzle at Safhe Shatranj

You can get one Rare Chest and two Normal Chests if you complete the Reservoir puzzles at Safhe Shatranj. This article will show you how to be able to complete the quizzes easily. Find out together now.

At Safhe Shatranj, you'll come across a locked temple protected by Primitive Structure. By defeating the enemy, you will activate the door unlocking agency and gain access to the abandoned temple.

Next, use the temple's elevator to go down, the player will see 3 locked chests, including 2 Normal Chests and 1 Rare Chest. Players need to complete tasks such as solving puzzles related to the Reservoir in order to unlock these chests.

The key to completing the puzzle is to observe the sand level in the Reservoirs so that the two sides coincide. One side of the wall has Reservoirs that don't change, while the opposite wall will contain Reservoirs that can be interacted with characters using bows.

How to solve the first puzzle in the Reservoir

To solve the first puzzle, you need to fill the Reservoir in the middle so that it resembles the pattern of the right wall.

Once the puzzle is completed, 3 Eremites will appear and you will need to defeat them to unlock the first Normal Chest. Once the puzzle is completed, the Reservoir pattern will change to the right side, you can continue the second puzzle here.

How to solve the second puzzle of the Reservoir

On the next puzzle you have to fill the bottom left and top right Reservoir. This will spawn 2 Primitive Textures. You need to defeat the enemy in order to open the next Normal Chest.

How to solve the third puzzle of the Reservoir

In the last puzzle, you need to fill the top left, middle and bottom right Reservoirs of the left wall. Specifically, players need to do the following:

1. Empty the bottom left Reservoir.
2. Pour sand into the lower right Reservoir to empty it.
3. If the top left Reservoir is open then you need to close the conduit.
4. Press the correct tube of the same Reservoir to open it.
5. Shoot at the upper sand conduit to fill the Reservoir below it and the one in the middle.
6. Proceed to close the conduit in the upper left after the middle is filled.
