AMD and ARM both warned of security flaws like Intel processors

Yesterday, a report announced the discovery of a serious security flaw in most Intel microprocessors manufactured within the past decade that has shocked the technology world.

The problem is getting worse when the latest report shows that not only Intel's processors are affected but also AMD's processors and ARM mobile processors may also have vulnerabilities. threatening billions of devices globally.

Taking advantage of this security hole, hackers can install malicious software to access the kernel data (kernel) inside Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems to get important information.

Immediately after the problem was discovered, AMD was reviewing the entire system to assess risks and ensure users were always protected. The results show that there are 3 variants that can attack this security hole. Depending on the processor, the threat and processing methods for these three types of attacks will vary. However, AMD also confirmed that even if this security hole is exploited, its processors are not at risk.

Currently, AMD has contacted Google's research team on this issue and confirmed that the vulnerability will be fully patched in a new software update, or operating system.

All ARM customers (smartphone manufacturers and mobile chip manufacturers) have been notified. If detected ARM processors are affected, they will implement security and security measures to overcome security vulnerabilities. Currently, Microsoft releases an Intel chip patch to handle this error.
