Until now, I - the author of the article, still remembered the way that I always attached my value to the work that I was doing. Whether it's because of the way our society sees certain positions or pride of ourselves. I have worked hard to get the job that I ( and my mother) feel proud of. When saying " I work for . " or " I am [job title] . " made me feel excited. Therefore, when I accepted my dream position, I felt like I had the right to say words that made the whole world believe that I could do it. But even if my dream vision came true, I realized that I no longer loved it. And it led me to a turning point in life.
I was forced to leave the company that I myself only worked for. While I felt tired and lacked the enthusiasm to work, I didn't listen to my determination and decided to keep this position because I was excited about the feeling of being accepted by others when I mentioned it. his position in the conversation. It was a craving that made me not want to let go. I feel like my identity is tied to this job and if I lose it I will become a useless person who can't prove what I'm doing.
However, when I gave up, I felt extremely relieved. When part of myself wants to keep something that doesn't make me feel happy for proud reasons, the burden on my shoulder is removed because I finally follow the truth of life me
For most people, this experience will make them feel as miserable as if being fired means they don't have the power and pride of them to fall to hell. However, when I received this, I was a bit hurt myself but it was even more sad when I didn't listen to my heart at first. Instead, allow others to decide my fate.
I soon realized that my self-worth cannot be determined by a " good-sounding " job that is determined by my own values, honesty and what goes on outside of working time. Yes, it would be great to work in a famous company and indeed, sometimes I still remember this " accepted " feeling. But deep down I know that work does not determine me, because the only acceptance I need is myself.
If you can contact anything below, that is the 5 reasons why you should not define yourself by profession or job - because loving yourself is far more valuable. with that salary and position. Please refer to the article!
1. By a famous job is not your only success
Working for a famous company to " beautify " your profile but that's not the only thing you should consider to succeed. Because success is rarely measured by someone's job or their wealth. The definition of success comes from the ability to do what you really love, be able to care for other jobs, overcome your greatest fear or seek happiness. A person's definition of success can be completely different from others. And it doesn't matter. Because in the end you are always yourself; Don't copy to do what you think is successful because of someone else's journey.
2. Because honesty and pride are the only thing you should define by yourself
Wouldn't it be great not to be judged on your career? Even if we meet a stranger, we want to know their name and what they do to make a living. Why? There is no other way to know a person's identity? It's great to know what they are passionate about, but should we frankly ask them about it?
Your people should be determined by what you love, the things you dream about, what you value and the people you love . Think about this. Your friends and family really don't care how much you do or how much you do, all they care about is your happiness. Treat yourself as you want others to treat you. You should respect your happiness; not any job, salary or employer.

3. Because most jobs are temporary and are subject to change at any time
In life there is no certainty, most of us believe that we have full control over our situation. Today you can identify yourself as a hardworking architect, but four years later, you may want to become a dairy farmer, milking cows to make a living. You never know what you will experience and how they will change you. Basically, nothing is permanent. Life is full of amazing things and there are many things that affect your life rather than your career.
4. Because this is what you do; not what you will become
Whether you work as a cashier for a store or an illustrator for an advertising company, this is what you do - they don't determine what you are. There are many ways to identify yourself, especially if you don't love your job. For example, outside your career, you can also be known as a mother, an animal lover or an enthusiastic video game player.
5. Other people will not remember you because of the work you are doing, but they feel who you are
The way you decide to treat others and express yourself is tied to how you perceive you more than your own work. When others talk or think about you, thoughts about your work will appear in your mind, but they are more mindful of your personality and personality.
You live for many reasons other than work. Perhaps you are trying to help others through their journey, or make a difference in your town and inspire others. You are making yourself feel unjust if you only identify yourself through work. Try to open up your own world and help others create their own world. The more we recognize ourselves, the more we feel happy .
