1. Darvaza (Gate of Hell), Turkmenistan
This fire pit has a diameter of 61m and a depth of 20m and this is a man-made product. In 1971, when people drilled the land, natural gas leaked out and they set fire to burn them all down.
However, nearly 50 have passed and the fire still flickers to this day.

This deep and elaborate well was built in 1527 to provide water for the whole city in a siege.

Big Hole is a large diamond mine that has ceased operations in Kimberley, South Africa. In the last century, thousands of people came here to mine diamonds and with hand tools like a hoe and shovel they dug a giant hole 500 meters in diameter and 400 meters deep.
