Windows 7 will not have Ultimate Extras

Microsoft said it would not offer the 'Ultimate Extras' package for Windows 7 Ultimate version, as it did with Windows Vista Ultimate.

The company spokesman insisted: ' Under the new Windows development strategy that will be introduced, Microsoft will not continue to provide additional features not included in the original operating system version. This means there will be no Ultimate Extras application package . '

Ultimate Extras is a special application software package and innovative service exclusively for Windows Vista Ultimate users - the most expensive version of Windows Vista. However, due to slow implementation of commitment to users in providing this package, Microsoft had to receive a lot of criticism from users.

Specifically 5 months after Vista launches, the number of Ultimate Extras applications that users receive is still relatively limited. Two months later, Microsoft pledged to change but eventually there were not many results.

The last time Microsoft delivered a new Ultimate Extras application for Windows Vista Ultimate was September 2008. And now Microsoft is no longer using Ultimate Extras as a factor to encourage users to spend more money to upgrade to this version of the operating system.

Perhaps it is because of this that Microsoft has not only changed the strategy of releasing Windows 7 versions but also changed the strategy with additional applications for this operating system.
