An easy way to free up memory on your  computer  is to delete temporary files, also known as Temorary Files. This file slows your computer down and you have to delete it regularly to free up memory. The following article will guide you on how to delete it!

1. What is Temporary File?

As the name implies, Temporary Files are files generated by applications and stored on your computer to hold temporary information.

When you use certain software, they will create temporary files in this Temporary folder to work. After you have saved the file you are using in the software, the temporary files will be deleted immediately.

However, these temporary files are not always deleted automatically, wasting memory, slowing down your computer.

2. Does deleting Temporary files affect your computer?

The answer is no, you can completely erase it to clean up hard drive space. As I explained above, these files are almost junk files after the software closes.

3. How to safely delete Temporary files

- Delete Temporary Files in Settings

Step 1 : Open  Settings  by clicking on  the Windows icon  > Select  Settings .

Step 2 : In this step you choose  System .

Step 4 : Select  Storage  > You look to the right and click on  Temporary File , the temporary files are located here.

Step 5 : Click the Remove files button   to remove temporary files.

- Using CCleaner application

Step 1 : Access CCleaner software homepage   to download and install the software on your computer.

Step 2 : Once installed, open the software up and do  the following steps: Click the tab  Custom Clean  > Look to the right of  the System  you check  the Temporary files  > Click  the Run Cleaner .

Step 3 : Select  Continue  in this step.

After the software runs, you will see  a list  of temporary files that have been deleted.
