V16 diesel engine made from 60,000 Lego pieces works like the real thing

Stefan Weinert - owner of the YouTube channel Beyond the Brick, is a Logo enthusiast. At the same time, he is also a person who is capable of assembling and making everything from these pieces, many of the world's best 'wonders' made from Lego have been created by him. And one of the most impressive, sophisticated and complex works that he has created from Lego is probably the V16 diesel engine with "realistic" performance below.

First of all, the size of this Lego engine is not much different from the real engine. This engine runs on electricity instead of oil like a real engine, but its operating mechanism is also very similar to reality.

What's special is that the entire engine mechanism including the technical pieces of Lego Technic are made from Lego pieces without using any glue.

To complete this project, Stefan had to spend a lot of time planning, perfecting the drawings and finding the right pieces among 60,000 different separate Lego pieces. In addition, Stefan may have had to order some individual pieces according to his wishes from third-party manufacturers. Therefore, the cost to carry out this project is certainly not small. Stefan did not share the exact amount of money he spent, he only affirmed that he did it because of his passion.
