The ThinkPad X1, the latest unique laptop Lenovo introduced, was unfortunate when it failed to pass the spill-proof keyboard test.

According to Lenovo's announcement, the X1 will overflow a certain amount of water poured into the keyboard and if the number exceeds the number, it will automatically turn on the self-protection and shutdown mode to ensure safety.

However, in Engadget's small test, with a small amount of water poured slowly, the X1 only " endured " for a few seconds and then turned itself off. Although the water has been drained out and dried, the X1 still cannot restart.

Lenovo will likely have to review this technical error of X1 to fix it in time before starting selling in the market.
