A representative of an Internet service provider in Vietnam said that according to the latest information from international partners, the time to complete the error on the SMW-3 optical fiber cable will continue to last.
The incident of the SMW-3 international marine optical cable occurred at 5: 10 minutes on October 10. The repair period is expected to be completed on October 20, but will last until December 21 - December 26. However, depending on the weather and international partners' plans, this schedule is subject to change.

After the cable route SMW-3 has been processed, the AAG cable line will be repaired. Therefore, the processing time for AAG cable cannot be completed as originally planned during December 14-18.
SMW-3 is managed by Sing Tel and built by France Telecom and China Telecom. In Vietnam This fiber optic cable landed in Da Nang, connecting Vietnam with 39 countries around the world with a system capacity of 320Gbps.
AAG has a total capacity of up to 2 terabit per second. In Vietnam, AAG landed in Vung Tau, with a length of 314 km.
