Vaio VGN-CS11S / W possesses more 'curves' with slender beveled edges evenly spread across the corners of the lid. The Vaio logo with chrome alloy is shiny in the middle and the tiny Sony text on the front edge.

The CS11S / W keyboard is spacious, the distance between the keys is wide and will not encounter any confusion when typing continuously. If the CR510E media keys are disqualified as 'neck', the CS11S / W is equipped with a range of touch media keys based on a modern LED system. The volume control key is set quite far, so when you press the user, you don't have to search and control. However, these keys emit a "beep" sound when pressed so sometimes a little uncomfortable. To get rid of that trouble, there's only one way to turn off the sound (Mute).

The speakers that Sony equipped for CS11S / W only give average sound quality, but the sound output is very clear, no distortion when loudly opened.

The touchpad is more modern than other Sony laptops. The designer cleverly intertwined the metallic 'material' of two bright mouse buttons with the tone of the rough surface touchpad creating a color similarity with the lid. Both touchpad and 2 mouse buttons are very responsive, convenient to use with non-slip rough surface.

While there have been many improvements compared to VGN-CR510E, the CS11S / W has not been equipped with an HDMI port for HD TV output. In addition, the necessary connections are guaranteed, such as charging port, VGA port, 2 USB ports, LimeWire port, Headphone / Micro jacks (left flank); DVD-Writer optical drive or Bluray drive, Express Card, add a USB port, and LAN port (right side).
