Sony introduced the new Vaio Y and S series
Sony brings CES 2010 upgrade laptop version of the series Z, F, W and two new series is Y, S.
The first is that the Vaio Z models have a backlit display of 13.1 inches and weighs only 1.3 kg. This device has built-in HDMI output, 3G features of Verizon Wireless, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. All Vaio Z models are sold with solid-state drives that can be up to 512 GB.
However, the most prominent must be the new Vaio series W. These are the laptops introduced by the manufacturer that are very environmentally friendly. The Vaio W Eco Edition 212AX model has a 10.2-inch wide screen and a 250 GB hard drive. The case is made of recycled plastic and has a price of about 480 USD.

Meanwhile, the Sony Vaio F Series is a truly powerful entertainment machine with a Full HD display of up to 16.4 inches. The device is also equipped with powerful graphics card Nvidia GeForce GT330M GPU with 1GB GDDR3 VRAM and integrated RAM to 8GB. The Vaio F Series is also powered by Intel Core i7 quad-core processors. It will also be equipped with a Dolby Home Theater v3 speaker system.
In addition, the company also introduced the new Vaio series Y with ultra-slim body and 13.2-inch LED backlit screen. It has the option of low-voltage processor CULV Core 2 Duo and Ram up to 8 GB maximum. The theoretical battery life is about 10 hours continuously. Unfortunately this model has no optical drive attached. Models of the Y series will be sold at a starting price of around $ 800.

At the same time, on its official website in Europe, the company also introduced a new Vaio series S. This is a line of laptops for high-demand work or entertainment needs. The Vaio S series has a 13.3-inch LED backlight display. The case is made of sturdy magnesium alloy and weighs about 2 kg (including battery). The device will be equipped with 4GB DDR3 capacity with Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics card with 512MB GDDR3 VRAM (depending on configuration).
All of Sony's models will be sold immediately this month with an official price not disclosed by the manufacturer.
