Sony recommends that Vaio Fit laptop has an explosion hazard
Sony recently released recommendations for Vaio Fit 11A laptop users that they should stop using this product immediately, because the battery has a high chance of catching fire. Information posted on the WSJ page. Vaio Fit 11A is the tablet hybrid laptop that Sony launched in January this year.
Sony is in the process of announcing more than 25,000 Vaio Fit 11A users that their device may be using faulty, unsafe batteries. Vaio Fit 11A was released at the beginning of the year and Sony said its sales reached about 26,000. It is possible that in a few days Sony will officially issue a recall notice.
The announcement came as Sony was preparing to sell the PC business to Japanese investment firm Japan Industrial Partners (JIP) . In the PC industry that is facing a lot of difficulties, Sony does not seem to be able to stand up to the competition of rivals such as Lenovo, HP, and Dell.
Prior to Sony's announcement, another computer company, Lenovo, had to release the ThinkPad laptop's battery recall because of the risk of safety and fire. Every year in the world also recorded battery explosion occurred with leading smartphones such as Galaxy Note, Galaxy S4 .
