The VAIO E series gets the most priority in this upgrade with the 2.53GHz Core i5 580M and 2.53GHz Core i5, as well as a 2GHz Pentium dual-core processor for custom-made models ( BTO).

EA and EB machines now also have the option of Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics solution for 1080p video display.

The VAIO F has been upgraded with graphics processing from the GeForce GT 330M to the newer GeForce GT 425M released this month. A USB 3.0 port will now support both USB 2.0 and the connectivity of ultra-fast external hard drives as well as future peripherals.

Sony's all-in-one VAIO L computer will have the option of Blu-ray and 2TB hard drive. It can carry a 2.66GHz Core 2 Quad S processor and can select a TV tuner receiver.

The price of the models will depend on the level of upgrade, but the VAIO L machines with Blu-ray players and 2TB hard drives will sell for $ 2,200.
