Telecom company Ericsson has partnered with Swedish public transport and public service providers to conduct a six-month trial with two self-driving, vans on public roads in Stockholm. Self-driving electric buses can carry 11 passengers (free of charge) at speeds of up to 24 km / h in a given time. Their automated driving capabilities are provided by Ericsson's CUT (API Connected Urban Transport) platform, which allows buses to connect to bus stops, traffic lights and signs.
