Network administrators - People who use social networks, even Facebook, have concerns about the control of their information, this information needs to be secured safely and has a lot of things. Different security options.

That's why Facebook recently added its interface to a variety of ways for users to filter information, which will make it easier for them to control what they can give others. See and what others can't see.

You can do that from the Settings, Privacy menu, in which you will have options like Profile (people can see your personal and contact information, including videos and photos that you have tagged ); Search (what will be available in Facebook's Search function); News Feeds and Wall (one of your posts or comments that others can see); Applications (what information will be available to Facebook applications you add).

Options to increase the restrictions provided are Everyone, My Networks and Friends, Friends of Friends or Only Friends.

If not, you need to carefully protect Profile settings because that's where bad guys can steal your data for bad use and purposes or perform social engineering attacks.

The importance of other settings depends on how you use Facebook: If you want to make friends with many people or do the main purpose on Facebook for your business (for example) then you may want to leave the term Moderate preparation so they can find you. In case you just want to use Facebook for the purpose of communicating with a trusted group of friends, then tighten access restrictions.

Similarly, if you primarily want to post promotional materials for your business, then you should probably loosen the News Feeds section - your intention will be to see as many people as possible. However, if you use Facebook for authentic personal information - to declare your plans for starting a new job search - then you should limit that information to Only. Friends, or even more limited, only some friends you created.
