" Agent.NDP is an interesting attacker, because it doesn't exploit any security holes, and doesn't have its own bulk mailing mechanism, " ESET expert Pierre Marc Bureau said. know.

" Colloquially, the purpose of Trojans is to steal identity information and open the backdoor for other malware to come in. As our observation, it seems that Agent.NDP pays particular attention to online game players. Chinese routes, they often steal the victim's username and password .

Once successfully sneaked into the machine, Agent.NDP will copy itself to the temporary folder of the computer, then write a DLL. This DLL code will be implanted into explorer.exe to track most system actions and hunt for valuable information.

In addition to W32 / PSW.Agent.NDP, another Trojan that raged in October was INF / Autorun, which accounted for 3.45% of all scanned computers.
