On Friday, Reddit revealed Place, the latest feature in an annual series of social experiences celebrating April Fool's Day. On Monday morning, Place was over. And this is what it took place.
Basically, Reddit Place is a big picture, can be drawn and accessed on Reddit application for computers, iOS, Android. It's like many people paint on Microsoft Paint. With Place, there is a blank picture, users can put bricks on it, but have to wait 5 minutes to make the next one. This deadline means that users are forced to work together to create something meaningful rather than doodle on the picture.
Reddit has increased the challenge. At the end of the program, Reddit told Bussiness Insider that more than 1 million Reddit users had painted 16 million bricks on Place. Just before the end, more than 90,000 users were able to see the picture and the bricks put on it together. What they did together was amazing, this is the final state of the Place painting:

Like previous social tests of Reddit, Button and Robin, Place made users of this link sharing site turn away from each other.
This new feature was quickly responded by the community and then created a virtual war. Individual subreddit communities are disputing different areas of the picture, leading to war because each group tries to scale up its project.
Below is the user-generated animation in the group's battle of creating an American flag with other users trying to paint it.
The battle broke out when the famous osu online game player captured a large part of the picture, near the bottom of the screen, quickly transforming the picture into osu war.
That battle was envisioned by a Reddit user as a 3D map of brick placement:
After all, it seems that Reddit has had a successful 1/4 day. And this time, the joke that Reddit created created a complete product worth admiring!
