Yesterday (February 18) LG officially introduced the "converged" Netbook with relatively impressive features and designs - LG-X120.
The reason LG named the product 'Convergence Netbook' (Convergence Nebook) because the X120 is equipped with high-speed 3G HSPA mobile network connectivity. Here is the convergence of mobile technology with PC technology.
The X120 uses the Smart-On user interface so the boot speed is extremely fast. It only takes about 5 seconds for the user to be able to access the main console. The system is also equipped with a separate icon to help users quickly access commonly used applications.
Using Smart-Link technology in combination with a USB cable, the X120 can connect to a regular PC to share files, install new applications or access data from a PC's CD or DVD drive. In addition, the X120 is equipped with advanced security features that allow users to share files completely safe while still connected to other devices.
Some of the X120's features include a 160GB hard drive, MP3 music player, Photo Viewer, web browsing, 1.3-megapixel webcam that supports video conferencing. The continuous use of the X120 can be up to 7 hours using a 6-cell battery.
It is expected that the product will be officially launched in March.
