These netbooks cost around VND 5 million just launched in Vietnam

Although many names have withdrawn from the netbook market, but Asus, Samsung still unveiled new machines during the Tet holidays .

Netbook sales went down in the last year. The fact that the laptop has a strong, ultra-thin, low-cost configuration and a large tablet appears to have pushed these tiny devices to sell slowly. Sales manager of a computer company in District 11, Ho Chi Minh City, said that Samsung and Asus still released new machines just to fill their product segment and not focus on sales like before.

Ultrabooks are expected by many owners to lead sales in 2012. However, a small number of users may still choose netbooks because the current price has touched about 5 million.

Samsung N100 MA01VN

Samsung's netbook has a 10.1-inch screen, XGA resolution (1,152 x 864 pixels). It uses Intel Atom N435 chip with 1.33 GHz speed, 1 GB RAM supporting up to 2 GB and 250 GB hard drive. Products with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 graphics card can expand up to 250 MB. The DOS machine, without the operating system, can install Windows 7 or XP.

This model costs only 5 million VND.

Samsung N100 MA02VN

There is no configuration difference compared to the MA01VN N100, which uses a 10.1-inch screen, 1.33 GHz Intel Atom N435 processor, 1 GB RAM. This model has a 320 GB hard drive, higher than the "brother" version. It also has no pre-installed operating system. Price is 5.2 million.

Asus EeePC X101H

Asus's new netbook uses a 10.1-inch LED Backlight display (1,024 x 600 pixels). X101H is equipped with Intel Atom N570 processor with 1.66 GHz speed, 1 GB RAM and 320 GB hard drive.

It uses Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 graphics card that can expand up to 251 MB. The device comes pre-installed with MeeGo operating system and supports Windows 7 and XP. Price of 5.8 million VND.

Asus EeePC X101H_320G

Along the X101H screen, this model uses Intel Atom N570 chip with 1.66 GHz speed, 1 GB RAM, 320 GB hard drive. Machine with integrated graphics card Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 can expand up to 251 MB. It also comes with MeeGo OS pre-installed and supports Windows 7 and XP. Selling prices in many stores are 6 million VND.
