Lenovo upgraded ThinkPad T, L and W series

The new ThinkPad T series includes the T420 , T420s and T520 trio with the second-generation Core i5 and i7 processors along with some improvements in battery life and boot time. The 1.8 kg T420s introduced introduced boots up to 30% faster than before. Meanwhile, the T420 can use batteries up to 30 hours after each charge with the included 9-cell battery. Like previous T410 models, the new models still integrate Nvidia Optimus graphics with fresh GeForce 4200M cards with 1GB VRAM capacity.
T series consists of 3 versions.
The ThinkPad T420s starts at $ 1,329, the T420 is $ 779 and the final model T520 will cost from $ 909 (reference price in the US market).
The L series is quite configurable.
Not as light-weight as the T series, but the new L series models are also quite well configured. This model includes L420 14-inch screen, L520 15.6-inch screen all have the option of Core I processor 2011 i5 or i7, 8GB maximum RAM and discrete graphics ATI Radeon HD 565. In addition Also, users have the option of a hard drive standard that mSATA SSD with 80GB capacity. The 14-inch model will only have a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels while the 15.6-inch version will have a maximum resolution of 1,600 x 900 pixels.
Both L420 and L520 models are priced at only 719 USD.
W series for general users.
In addition to the two models for the general consumer, Lenovo also introduced the ThinkPad W520 workstation model. This model has a very strong configuration with Core i5 or i7 processors (including four-core Core i7 chips), NVIDIA Fermi Quadro 100M or 2000M graphics cards with 2GB VRAM. Other specifications for this model include a 15-inch screen, USB 3.0 port, and a 160GB SSD.
The Lenovo ThinkPad W520 will cost from $ 1,329.
All of Lenovo's new models will start selling from the end of March.
