Lenovo announced ultrabook has 2 batteries, can use 17 hours
Lenovo recently announced a new series of ThinkPad ultrabooks, all equipped with Haswell chips - the latest chip platform from Intel.
Lenovo's new ThinkPad models are part of the T Series, namely the ThinkPad T440s and T440. Lenovo's Ultrabook has a 14-inch screen, optional full HD screen and lighter weight.

Both the ThinkPad T440s and the T440 have a 5-button clickpad designed to position the trackpoint and touchpad buttons. Lenovo offers options for running Windows 7 or Windows 8 , the highest processor chip up to Core i7, 12 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD or 512 GB SSD.
Both machines are equipped with removable 3-cell or 6-cell batteries; At the same time, there is an additional 3-cell battery inside which helps the device's battery life can be up to 17 hours if combined with 2 bars at the same time.
The ThinkPad T440s weighs 1.58 kg, measures 33x22.6x2.05 cm, the lowest version screen has a resolution of 1600x900. It has two additional screen options, full HD and full HD with touch. Ports include mini DisplayPort, VGA, Ethernet and 3 USB 3.0 ports, next to the SD card reader. Graphics of the device will be Intel HD 4400 graphics or Nvidia GT 730M discrete graphics card. T440s has a starting price of 1149 USD.
Meanwhile, the ThinkPad T440 is a bit heavier and bigger with 1.81 kg and measures 34x23.3x2.1 cm but has a much lower starting price of $ 899. It has a 1366x768 pixel resolution screen for the lowest version, with the option of touch-sensitive 1600x900 resolution option. The T440 has connectivity ports like its juniors, but offers additional smart card reader options. It uses integrated Intel Integrated HD 4400 graphics or Nvidia GT 720M discrete graphics.
Both the ThinkPad T440s and T440 will be available in October but the specific time has not been announced yet.
