Lenovo recently launched a new ThinkPad: ThinkPad W540, with the highlight being the most screened device in their ThinkPad line.
The ThinkPad W540 has a 15.5 inch IPS panel with a resolution of up to 2880x1620 pixels, an upgrade compared to the Thinkpad W530 (1920x1080 resolution). At 2.79 cm thick and weighing 2.47 kg, the ThinkPad W540 is also the lightest and thinnest 15-inch mobile workstation today.
Not only improved on the screen and design, ThinkPad W540 is also equipped with other terrible hardware such as 4-core Core i7 chip, 32 GB RAM, 2 TB hard drive. The graphics of the device are also extremely terrible with Nvidia's Quadro card. Thunderbolt ports, X-Rite color sampler are also bright upgrades.
Lenovo has not announced the price for the ThinkPad W540 but with a terrible configuration like above, the machine promises price will not be cheap. Chinese companies will sell this product in November.
