For example, ' Merci la belle communauté ' is closer to ' Thanks to the beautiful community ' but is translated into Facebook ' Thank you the beautiful community '. If you encounter similar situations when translating foreign languages, perhaps the automatic translation feature of Facebook makes you more annoyed than helpful. Here's how to prevent Facebook from translating text.
When you see a post automatically translated on New Feed, click the Settings icon and select Disable Automatic Translation For. This option turns off automatic translation of text but still leaves the option Translate this Post to translate again if desired. Choose Never Translate , you won't see that option anymore.
Turn off automatic text translation
Alternatively, go to Settings > Language (select the arrow icon pointing down at the right corner of the interface). Here, fill in the languages you don't want Facebook to automatically translate into the box Which Languages Do You not Want Automatically Translated.
Select Settings settings
Find language options (Language)
Enter the language you don't want Facebook to automatically translate
Then click Save Changes, posts in this language will no longer be automatically translated.
