Tom's Guide has performed tests on Galaxy Note 9, iPhone X and some of the hottest smartphones today to measure their multi-core processing performance and graphics.

Tom's Guide has performed tests on Galaxy Note 9, iPhone X and some of the hottest smartphones today to measure their multi-core processing performance and graphics.

Galaxy Note 9 version is used in the test is integrated Snapdragon 845 chip, 6GB RAM while iPhone X uses Bionic A11 chip and OnePlus 6 uses 8 GB RAM version.

In the Geekbench 4 machine's overall performance test, the Note 9's multi-core score was 8,876, followed by iPhone X with 10,357 points and OnePlus 6 with 9,088 points.

Compared to Note 8, Note 9 has improved more than 35% multi-core performance.

In 3D Mark Slingshot Extreme graphics processing performance test 3.1 score, the results show that the Note 9 still stands behind iPhone X and OnePlus 6.

On the screen, in the sRGB test of brightness and color range, the Note9 has surpassed the iPhone X but still lower than the S9 +.

In terms of color gamut, Note9 supports 224% of sRGB color strip over iPhone X with 128.6% but still loses to OnePlus 6 with 240.3% and S9 + with 231%.

Note: iPhone X is a 2017 flagship model and the OnePlus 6, Note 9 and Galaxy S9 + were launched in 2018.
