Huawei stopped manufacturing computers, reducing US smartphone production

Chinese technology firm has had to stop some production lines, even stop developing new generation personal computers.

After an embargo from the US, smartphone partners for Huawei had to stop some assembly lines because the Chinese technology company cut smartphone production despite its strongest growth in the first quarter of 2019. .

Huawei must also reconsider its goal of becoming the world's largest smartphone maker in 2020.
