As expected, the 14-inch 8460p and 15.6-inch 8560p are upgraded to Intel's next-generation Core chips and come with a new ultra-high capacity battery.

Optional battery on the 8460p with Intel graphics, 160GB SSD hard drive and HD display can run up to 32 hours on a single charge, enough for a two-way intercontinental flight.

Both of these new notebooks carry a new magnesium-aluminum casing design, nicknamed Forge , that promises to create a stronger frame as well as better resistance to moisture and squirrel protection. HP has now added a pin lock to prevent it from being released during a collision.

Users can choose Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors with 8GB of RAM and 750GB of storage instead of an 160GB SSD.

Both systems can be fitted with a Radeon HD 6470M graphics card for much faster video and the option to install a new HSPA + 3G modem for quick access to networks like AT&T and most of Canada's mobile networks. .

HP will launch new products on March 15, with prices starting from $ 999 for the basic 8460p and adding more than $ 100 to the larger 8560p.
