iOS 11.3 is an update with lots of attractive and useful features, outstanding among them is the feature that allows to turn off the device when the battery is slowed. However, there is a problem that many people upgrade to iOS 11.3 encountered. Specifically, some people have said that their iPhone upgraded to iOS 11.3 has a very fast battery drain.
In fact, there are many reasons for this situation but mostly due to the operation of the application. Usually after upgrading to new iOS, iPhone will take some time to operate stably again. So, the best time you should not do anything, just use normal equipment.
- iPhone using non-genuine battery will not be able to check battery status on iOS 11.3

How to check the status of iPhone batteries with bottles
The phenomenon of draining the battery on the iPhone is most likely because the new iOS version is faulty, please check it by going to: Settings> Bettery (Pin)> Scrolling down will see 'Time Since Last Full Charge' (Time time since the last full charge). Here, there are 2 parameters:
- Usage: The operating time of the iPhone since the last full charge.
- Standby: Time from the last full charge.
Before going to bed you fully charge the battery and next morning check the 2 parameters above. If the usage time (Usage) is much lower than the standby time (Standby), the battery is normal. In contrast, the closer these two parameters are, the more likely the battery is bottled.
Alternatively, you can go to Bettery Health (Beta) (Battery Status) to check the iPhone battery level. If the capacity is greater than 80%, the battery is good. Under this case, you should replace the battery with a new one. This is a feature that has been "apple house" integrated into the latest iOS 11.3, since iPhone 6 and above.
How to fix battery drain on iPhone when going to iOS 11.3
Above is how to check the status of iPhone batteries with bottles or not, so how to fix the battery bottle phenomenon when upgrading to iOS 11.3, how?
Refresh the background application
Go to Settings> Bettery (Battery) and see the Battery Usage list . Besides applications running in the background like Music, the remaining applications can cause battery drain on your iPhone.
If the battery is depleted, No Cell Coverage means that the device must operate at full capacity to catch waves in areas with poor cellular coverage. This may cause the battery to run out in a short time. To improve, use Airplane Mode. When you arrive at an area with a better service, you turn off this mode and will notice a significant improvement in your phone battery.
In addition, when detecting which applications cause battery drain, go to Settings> General> Background App Refresh to remove those applications.
Turn off Push Email
Push email is a method of receiving Email by way of the server automatically forwarding Email to a pre-configured mobile device. This mobile device works by keeping an active connection open to the server so that servers can notify mobile devices immediately when new email arrives. Therefore, the iPhone often has to work, leading to a bright screen continuously and of course, "consuming" the battery. To turn off Push Email, go to Settings> Account & Passwords> Fetch New Data.
Control applications more closely
Two ways to make the battery drain are running in the background and always sending a message to the device. That's why you should delete "immediately and" unnecessary applications, turn off notifications for non-used applications (go to Settings> Notification to turn off), turn off location detection (Setting> Privacy > Locations Services) and don't forget to refresh the background frequently for applications that don't use much.
If the above does not work, take more drastic measures to solve the iOS 11.3 problem that adversely affects battery life.
- Delete all applications and reinstall from backups.
- Regularly use the Low Power Mode feature.
- Use extra backup battery.
- Bring the device to the Apple store to check.
