How to use Video as Avatar avatar for Facebook

Facebook in recent updates has supported users to use Video as Avatar avatar. However, setting Video as Avatar only works on IOS and Android platforms, on computers, we can only set Avatar with photos only. In this article, the Software Tips will guide you how to use Video lanes to represent Avatar for Facebook.

Note: On both iOS and Android platforms have the same operation, so you can do the same.

Step 1: Start the Facebook application and select the Options tab to open the Personal page .

Then, you select the Camera icon next to Avatar and select Choose photo or Video representative to continue.

Step 2: Here, you will have 03 video choices as follows:

1. Camera: Video recording directly to make Avatar
2. Camera Roll: Select Video available on phone
3. Suggested photos: Select the Videos you have posted to Facebook

In this article, the Software Tips will use the video available on your device and select Video to be set as Avatar.

Step 3: After selecting the Video as your avatar, you need to set up some more information to make them look better. First, we will choose Edit .

At editing, you can choose Shorten Video (Shorten Video) to select the Video as the most appropriate and most beautiful Avatar.

1. Cut Card : You proceed to Cut Video to fit the best frame size.
2. Sound Card : Allows us to set whether to enable / disable the sound of Video.
3. Cover Card (Thumbnail): Allows you to select a frame in the Video to display representation (when the video has not played)

After finishing the editing work, you select Done to save.

Step 4: Next, you select the Frame tab to select the photo frame for the Video more vivid and more beautiful.

Step 5: Finally, you can set it to temporary if you do not want to leave this Video Avatar forever (until we change another Avatar picture). The feature to temporarily automatically change the prepared Avatar to the previous Avatar after the number of days and times is set.

Step 6: When all settings are complete, select Use to set Video as Avatar for Facebook. So, you've finished setting up Video as Avatar.
