How to turn on automatic email replies on Gmail

If you're planning a vacation and want to spend all this time with your family, turn on Gmail's automatic email answering feature to notify the sender that you can't immediately reply to an email.

When someone emails you, Gmail will automatically respond to that email based on what you have prepared.

The automatic email answering feature will start at 12:00 pm on the start date and end at 11:59 pm on the ending date.

In most cases, an automated reply is only sent the first time someone sends you a message.
