How to transfer photos from Google to Amazon Photos
Most people know about free photo storage tools provided by Google. However, many people, even those who have signed up for Amazon Prime, don't realize that Amazon also has an unlimited free photo storage tool, including full resolution RAW image files.
With Google, you only get 15GB of storage if you don't want the image to be compressed. If you accept image compression, you may have unlimited storage, but the image will not be as original.
If you want to move your Google photos (or copy them to create another backup), you'll need to download them from Google and transfer them to your Amazon account. The following article will show you how to do this easily.
Prepare mobile devices
If you use the Google Photos mobile app, the first step is to delete all photos that are currently backed up in the cloud account on your phone. This will eliminate the possibility that all images on your Prime account will be duplicated when the process ends.
1. Open the Google Photos app .
2. Click the menu bar (three lines in the top left corner).
3. Click on 'Free up device storage' . The application will let you know if all your photos are backed up, before you take this action.
4. Press the button.
When you are in the Settings section , turn off the 'Automatic backup' feature, by clicking the 'Back up and Sync' option and switching the switch to the Off state . If you do not do this, you will have a backup in both places. This may not be a bad thing, since having multiple backups will be safer.
Next, install the Amazon Photos app on your mobile phone.
Open the application and decide whether you want to back up your photos and devices automatically, by switching the switch to On or Off.
Download photos on Google to your device
Now you need to download the photos you want to transfer to Amazon Prime Photos to your computer or cloud storage.
1. Navigate to Google Takeout where all your data is stored.
2. You will see a large list, containing data from all the applications you use. Click 'Deselect all' because doing so will be much faster than executing each one independently.
3. Scroll down until you find Google Photos and select the box next to it.
4. If you do not want to download specific albums or other formats, click the appropriate box and uncheck the items you do not want.
5. Scroll to the bottom to find and click the 'Next step' button .
6. Select the desired move method. The article used the option to provide a download link to the email because the test account has a lot of images in it.
7. Leave other options - Export Type , File Type and Archive Size - as it is now and click 'Create archive'.
Wait until the repository has been created. This process may take a long time, depending on the number of photos you are backing up.

Amazon only allows 5GB of video, but images are not limited. You may want to keep the videos somewhere other than this server or upgrade to 100GB for $ 11.99 (276,000 VND) per month, if you feel compelled to have videos on Amazon.
There are other options on Amazon Photos like Family Vault and ordering directly from Amazon that you might want to consider.
Keeping photos backed up is a top priority for most people, because no one wants to lose the beautiful memories that are kept. Using Amazon Photos is a great way for you to feel secure.
Hope you are succesful.
