How to sign in by face, install Face ID on Windows 10
In the new version of Windows 10, Microsoft has added a built-in login recognition feature, but this feature only works with webcams on Windows Hello-compatible laptops. If not, you will see the "Windows Hello not available on this device" message (Windows Hello is not available on this device ) in Windows settings. To be able to use this feature, you need to buy a compatible Windows Hello computer or use third party face recognition software such as KeyLemon.
KeyLemon is facial recognition software for Windows and Mac that works with all different webcam types. Using KeyLemon, you can log in to Windows or Mac and unlock your computer just by sitting in front of your computer instead of typing a password. KeyLemon also provides options to return to login with a password, but users can delete this option from the KeyLemon installation.
After downloading the software from the da.keylemon.com website and installing the software, create a user profile that identifies the face for the current user account. Then look at the webcam, KeyLemon will take your picture and then click the Create my profile button to continue, enter the user password for the current user. You can change the face recognition data later by "adapting" face recognition to different environments.
In settings, users can change security levels from medium to high. With high security settings, the software only allows logging in with face recognition. In the average security setting, you can switch to login with a password. In addition, users can turn on anti-spoofing methods such as blinking eyes (the software will ask users to blink) and move the head (requires turning the head left and right). Anti-spoofing feature can protect you from people trying to log on to your computer using your images.
Once you've created a user profile with KeyLemon, you can try logging in by recognizing the face. To login with face recognition, press Ctrl + Alt + Del and then select Lock to lock the Windows computer. When any key is pressed, the face recognition window will pop up and in a snap you are logged into the computer.
KeyLemon carries login by face recognition to all Windows and Mac computers. And how to set it up is easy, not only that it also provides security measures against unauthorized logging. However, this software is not free, it is only free for 7 days and then users have to buy the license code.
