How to Remove a Lifeproof Waterproof Case
LifeProof cases for smartphones or tablets are designed to withstand water, dust, external impacts and even snow. This type of shell requires absolute tightness and tightness, so it will not easily loosen over time. When removing the LifeProof cover, you need to be careful so you can reuse it later.
Remove the bottom cover
Find the charging port on the bottom edge of your phone or tablet. Open the charging port cover.
Find the small slot to the left of the charging port. This is a position designed to easily remove the cover.
Flip the case over so the back is facing up. Then, turn the bottom edge of the phone to face you.
Take a coin. Insert the coin into the small slot to the left of the charging port. Push the coin deep into the slot by turning it slightly.
Continue pushing gently until you hear a 'click' sound, then the front and back covers have been separated.
Slide your finger under the case where the charging port cover has just opened. You will hear another 'click' as the other side of the latch pops out.
Continue sliding your finger deeper between the back of the phone/tablet and the back cover of the case. While holding the back cover, push it up and down to separate the back of the case from the front.
Several latches located along the side of the case will be separated when you remove the back cover from the front cover by pushing up and down.
Do not pop the lid off right away. If you do not insert your finger between the phone/tablet and the back cover, the cover latch will break.
Set the back cover aside.
Remove the top cover
Turn the device and LifeProof case over. Proceed to the next step on a soft surface like a bed or sofa in case your phone or tablet falls out of the cover.
Use your thumb to press the surface of the front cover. Press the middle part of the lid.
Place your remaining fingers on the side of the shell. Your phone will pop back out.
Gently remove the parts of the cover that are still attached to the phone at a diagonal angle.
