How to export Video from Aegisub

Aegisub is one of the best Sub creation software on computers today. This tool not only has Sub creation features but also has beautiful text effects. However, Aegisub only supports creating Subs and does not support merging Subs into Videos. Because of this problem, we have to use third-party software to export Videos with Subs. 1. Install Format Factory software

Aegisub software does not support Video export, so we will need to use Format Factory software to export Video. This is completely free software so you can freely use it without worrying about paying.

You download the software to your computer and install it to use.

2. Set up on Aegisub

After installing Format Factory, proceed with setup on Aegisub to get the Sub file for the Video.

In your working file, select File -> Save Subtitles (Ctrl + S) to export the Sub file.

Note: Please save the Sub file in the same location as the Video file for easy selection.

3. Export the Video using Format Factory

After completing the above two parts, we will have the following documents:

1. Sub file – exported from Aegisub
2. Video File – Video file needs Sub connection
3. Format Factory – Software to combine Sub into Video

Step 1: First you need to start Format Factory software and select MP4 to create Video.

Step 2: When the MP4 window appears, select Output Settings to set the output.

Step 3: In the Video Settings window, find Additional Subtitle (1) and click to activate. Immediately, the Three Dots box (2) will appear and you click on the Three Dots to open the Sub file.

Step 4: When the Open window appears, select the Sub file exported from Aegisub and click Open to open.

Step 5: After selecting the Sub file, click OK to move to the next step.

Step 6: Next you need to select Add Files .

Step 7: When the Please select files window appears, you need to select the Video to insert Sub and click Open to open.

Step 8: After completing the selection of Sub and Video, click OK to complete.

Step 9: At the main interface of Format Factory software, click Start to export the Video file.

Video file export time will depend on your computer configuration. The higher the computer configuration, the faster the speed and vice versa.

Step 10: After exporting the file, click the Play button to view the product.
