Guide to Sharing Your Personal AI Assistant on Gemini

Gems on Gemini are customizable versions of Gemini, allowing you to personalize your Gemini personal assistant. You can share this AI personal assistant with other users so they can use their own created AI assistant on Gemini. Once shared, other users can edit, use, or copy the Gem. Here's how to share your Gemini personal assistant.

How to Share a Personal Assistant on Gemini

Step 1:

On the Gemini interface, tap the Gem option to access the assistant you want to share with others.

Step 2:

Display the Gem you created in Gemini. To share an assistant you've created, tap the share icon as shown below.

Step 3:

You will now receive a request to connect to Google Workspace ; click on Connect below to proceed.

Step 4:

Next, you'll see the interface for customizing how to share your AI personal assistant on Gemini with others. Here, you can adjust the access permissions and the accounts you want to share with, just like when you share data on Google Drive.

Next, with the AI assistant and accompanying reference documents, you will be asked if you want to share the document and what sharing permissions you have. Finally, you can share it via a link or email.

Step 5:

When others access your Gem assistant, they will immediately see the creator's account and can use it as usual.

After sharing, your assistant gem will have an entry created in your Driver so we can access and manage it as needed.
