Having your own AI assistant will help you perform tasks quickly, based on the topics you set. Gemini supports creating an AI assistant similar to the lesson plan creation assistant app on Google AI Studio. Below is a guide on creating an AI assistant using Gemini.

Step 1:

We access Gemini and then click on the Gem section on the left. Now, click the New Gem button to start creating it.

Next, enter a name for your personal AI assistant that is easily recognizable and relevant. In the Instructions section, you need to clearly describe what this AI assistant will do, its purpose, and who it will assist, etc.

For example, to create an AI assistant for 7th grade History, use the command below. You can adjust these instructions depending on the purpose of the AI assistant you want to create.

Once you've clearly entered your request for the AI assistant, click the pen icon to write it down in Gemini's language.

As a result, we have a more standardized Gemini language.

Step 2:

Continuing in the Knowledge section , click the plus sign to upload reference data ; here, we will upload the textbooks to use as reference materials.

Finally , press Save to save this AI assistant on Gemini.

Step 3:

Tap Start Chat to use this assistant for your work.

The assistant we create can be customized to our liking. Tap the three-dot icon next to the AI assistant you created on Gemini and select Edit .

Now you can add a new description for the assistant and tap Update to apply it. Then you can use the assistant on Gemini as usual.
