Gemini chat sharing guide

Gemini offers the option to share chat conversations with others so you can join the conversation, ask questions, and receive responses from Gemini. When you share a Gemini chat, a chat link is created. Anyone with this link can read the chat content, even if you didn't directly share the link with them. Here's how to share a Gemini chat.

 

How to share Gemini chat messages on your phone.

Step 1:

On the Gemini interface on your phone, enter your question or command and press send. Then, in Gemini's response, tap the send icon at the bottom as shown in the image.

 

Step 2:

At this point, you will see the option to send the Gemini chat link through several supported methods listed below. Simply send this link to the person you want to join.

Once they receive the link, they will immediately access your chat content to continue.

 

How to share chat messages on Gemini PC

Step 1:

We access Gemini and then chat with Gemini as usual. Next, you select the conversation you want to send to the other person and then click the share icon as shown in the image.

Step 2:

At this point, users will see several options for sharing the Gemini chat as shown below. We will click on Share to proceed.

 

Step 3:

At this point, the user is asked whether they want to share the Gemini chat individually or share the entire chat they are currently having with Gemini. We choose whether we want to share the chat on Gemini and then select "Create public link" . The chat link will then be copied to the clipboard.

Step 4:

The person who receives the link upon accessing it can continue to participate in this conversation; simply click "Continue this conversation" to complete the process.

As mentioned, anyone with the Gemini chat link can access and continue the chat, even if you didn't share it with them.

Delete the link sharing the Gemini phone chat.

 

Step 1:

You tap on your profile picture and then tap on Settings .

Step 2:

Next, select Your public link . Here, click the trash can icon to delete any chat sharing link you want.

Or delete all at Delete all links .

 

Delete the Gemini PC chat sharing link.

With Gemini on PC, you click on Settings and help , then click on Your public link .

Then you will see all the chat links that we shared. Click the trash can icon to delete them, or select "Delete all links" to delete them all.
