Magic Expand in Canva AI is one of the high-quality image editing tools in Canva's Magic Studio suite . Using Magic Expand in Canva, you can enlarge images to your liking for a more aesthetically pleasing result without losing the image's composition. Guide to enlarging images in Canva

Step 1:

First, upload the image you want to enlarge to your Canva application. Then, click on the Enlarge Magic button to begin editing.

You can choose to open the image in an existing design, or create a new design in Canva.

 

Step 2:

You will then see several options to expand the image, as shown below.

Step 3:

If you select Entire Page , the Magic Expand tool will automatically adjust to fit the frame for expansion.

If you choose a 1:1 aspect ratio , the image will essentially remain the same.

Step 4:

If you select "Custom, " we will automatically adjust the blue frame to follow the white area that Canva creates for you.

 

Once you've selected the area you want to expand, click the Expand button below to proceed with expanding the image using Magic Expand in Canva AI.

Step 5:

Next, you'll see four new enlarged images created by Canva AI. If you're not satisfied, click on Create another result.

If you like a particular image, simply select it. You can then continue editing the image using the tools available on Canva.
