Google has provided numerous updates to its applications, with many new features useful. After releasing the first Android P Developer Preview and updating Gmail for Android, Google announced that Google Duo also has a new feature.

If you're lucky, then you can use this feature, it allows creating video messages in Google Duo on Android and iOS. The new feature has been launched since March 8, 2018, and according to Google, it will be available worldwide in the near future.

So, how do video messages work in Google Duo? In fact, it's quite simple. If you are calling someone and the person rejects the call or misses, you will be able to leave a video message for them.

Basically, you can record a 30-second video or voice message and send it to your friends or family members, the recipient will see this message in the Duo app on their Android or iOS device. After watching the video message, your friend may decide to call again by clicking the "Call now / Call Now" button.

Note that these video messages will disappear one day after you watch them, but if you find them funny, interesting, you can save them in your phone's memory.
