Many pistol accessories are locked before the game's storyline unlocks them. However, you can get some items by exploring the island. Here are some places where you can get some accessories in Sons of the Forest.

How to get pistol accessories in Son of the Forest

There are 4 accessories that you can attach to a pistol in Sons of the Forest and two of them you can find without any additional equipment. These two will be the pistol sights and silencers, while the flashlight scope and the Laser Light are locked after you find the Shovel, what you need is the String Gun and the Ventilator.

Take the pistol aiming rail

The beach where the Pistol is first found will have the Pistol Sight Ray found in some crates. From the map image, this will be right next to the purple icon on the left. The exact location may vary, but there will always be a corpse that the player can loot near the shore next to the orange boat where the Pistol is located.

Find the Sons of the Forest pistol flashlight

The Flashlight attachment can be found in the same cave as the Shovel and requires the player to have a String Gun and a Ventilator to get through. The attachment itself is already halfway through the cave after encountering a new mutant and will be gripped by a corpse.

Where to find silencers in Sons of the Forest

There are two methods to obtain the Silencer, when it appears, the item can be called a Silenced. Both have the same function and if the player has one in his pocket, the other cannot be picked up. The first one can be found in the island helicopter pictured above. This can be found near where the Electric Baton is and below the top green marker.

The second place where you can get silencers, you need to get the Shovel and enter the maintenance area B (Maintenance B), which is also where you find the Synthetic Bow. This will require you to take some steps, so players should consider what steps are needed to get the shovel before coming here.

Where to find the Laser Sight in Sons of the Forest

Laser Sight requires the player to also have a Shovel and is located in Maintenance A (Maintenance A). This is dug at the green marker to the left from the starting beach. Inside you can also find the Fire Ax. Laser sights can be attached to a variety of weapons, so give it a try!
