Facebook said most users will gain access to the new design on computers from March 19. This is the design introduced from the F8 conference in 2019. However, Facebook does not force people to immediately use the new interface. By the end of this year, it will become the default for all users.

New and old Facebook profile

Facebook started testing new designs in October 2019 and seems to receive positive feedback. Just a few weeks earlier, the social network also refreshed Messenger, removing the Discover card. The company has spent the past 2 years simplifying applications after a decade making them more complicated.

The new Facebook helps users quickly find what they like thanks to a cleaner navigation. Neat interface with larger fonts, streamlined layout. In addition, it adds a dark background mode, reducing screen glare, helping eyes relax. Users can also create ads, Events, Pages, and Groups faster.
