DNA analysis showed that the first modern British had dark skin, blue eyes

The first modern British had dark skin and blue eyes, London scientists said after breaking through DNA analysis (groundbreaking DNA) from the body of an ancient person living 10,000 years ago.

Known as the "Cheddar Man" who lived behind the southwestern England, the skeleton of this man was discovered in a cave in 1903, the ancient man was put into conservation through the first full DNA analysis on a complete body.

A bust of Cheddar Man, with shoulder-length black hair and short bangs, was created using 3D printing technology.

In a joint project between the British Museum of Natural History and University College London, scientists conducted a 2mm hole drill into the skull and removed bone powder for analysis.

The findings of the scientific team changed the way they saw before about Cheddar Man, who was described as having light brown eyes and skin in some earlier guesswork models.

"Surprisingly, this British man 10,000 years ago may have a combination of very blue eyes but his skin is very dark," said Chris Stringer, the museum's representative, over the past decade. Human bones found in this cave say.

The tribe of Cheddar Man migrated to England at the end of the ice age and his DNA was linked to individuals discovered in Spain, Hungary and Luxembourg today.

Selina Brace, an ancient DNA researcher at the museum, said the cave environment where Cheddar Man once lived helped preserve the rest of the body.

"In the cave you have a wonderful environment, cool, dry, and basically prevent DNA from being destroyed," she said.
