- Select Pick tool, on the properties bar to adjust unit to inches and Zoom = 100%.
- Press Ctrl + J to open the Options dialog.
- Select Toolbox / Zoom / Hand Tool.Check the box Zoom Relative to 1: 1.
- Choose Calibrate Rulers to see 2 vertical and horizontal displays on the screen.You take a ruler . it really goes to the screen to measure it (by default the resolution is 72 pixels / inch), usually the screen size will not be the same as the actual ruler, you increase or decrease the resolution until the size is the same.Click OK.
