Dell announces the 'massive' configuration of dual workstations

Dell has officially introduced two of the above workstation models including the Precision M4800 and Precision M6800.

However, now that wait is over. Dell has officially introduced two of the above workstation models including the Precision M4800 and Precision M6800.

The M4800 and M6800 are equipped with the most advanced hardware technologies available today. Specifically, the Haswell Core i5 or Core i7 processor chip (with or without Intel's vPro technology), the latest FirePro graphics card from AMD or Nvidia's Quadro graphics card.

The M4800 is equipped with a 15.6-inch screen with 3200x1800 resolution. The 400-nit screen and the technology used is IGZO (a technology in the manufacture of LCD screens that saves electricity, high resolution .), which is the same resolution as a workstation Its other is M3800.

Meanwhile, the M6800 model is only equipped with 17.3-inch LCD screen with 1920x1080 resolution. However, the screen of the M6800 supports 10-touch touch points.

Both machines have a RAM option of up to 32 GB. The 17-inch version supports up to 4 recesses containing hard drives, allowing users to upgrade to 3.5TB HDD or SSD. The M4800 only supports 3 niches with a maximum hard drive capacity of 2.5 TB.

In terms of batteries, the two devices are equipped with 97Wh batteries and users can double the battery capacity by attaching an external battery. IT professionals who purchase the device can choose Windows 7 or Windows 8 operating systems, and even Red Hat or Ubuntu Linux.

M4800 has a starting price of 1,249 USD , while the M6800 is priced from 1,599 USD.
