HP recently continued to develop mobile workstations, following its 2012 workstation generation. The new workstation that HP has just introduced is named Zbook with noticeable improvements such as a thinner, lighter design.
HP released a total of 3 new models including Zbook 14, Zbook 15 and Zbook 17. Of these, Zbook 14 is "ultrabook standard workstation" thanks to its thinness. This promises to be a formidable rival to Dell's Precision M3800 . Meanwhile, the Zbook 15 model has a "terrible" screen resolution option of up to 3200x1800 pixels. And Zbook 17 is the most advanced model. Both 15 and 17 inch versions are equipped with Intel's high-speed Thunderbolt port.
Three new HP workstations will be equipped with Haswell processor, the latest graphics card from AMD and Nvidia. Zbook 15 and 17 are now pre-ordered, while Zbook 14 will be sold by the end of October .
In addition to mobile workstations, HP also upgraded its Z-series to its Ivy Bridge Xeon chip and Thunderbolt 2 port.
