China: The capital Beijing builds a robot industrial park
China's capital Beijing has begun building a robotics industrial park in the future science city in Changping district, north of the city.
In 2023, the Beijing government announced a plan to build two robot industrial parks, of which the second robot industrial park will be located in Yizhuang, south of the capital, known as an economic and industrial development area. turmeric.
The industrial park in Xuong Binh district will focus on building public service platforms and promoting businesses to innovate robots to support the development of related industries.
The Xuongping Economic and Information Technology Office said the district has up to 41 colleges and universities that can provide talents and intellectual support to promote the robotics industry.
According to the above office, Beijing is building two robot industrial parks, with a total area of about 56,000 m2, expected to be completed in the first half of 2026 and will operate as standardized factories for businesses.
