Who needs Adobe Bridge? What is it used for?

Bridge is essentially an Adobe-branded viewport through which you can browse digital assets of all genres, including photos, audio, video, and vector graphics.

The metadata is another highlight. You can explore your media the same way you would through an application like Premiere, with attached metadata describing the most important aspects of each file.

In addition to these few examples, there is much more to explore:

  1. Bridge allows you to browse your entire media collection. You can preview images, play video and audio, all from within the app.
  2. You can sync your media across all apps and devices.
  3. The app also allows you to create your own media library, matching everything you need for one project or another.
  4. You can examine any file, taking a closer look at both the images and the properties they represent.
  5. Bridge offers a powerful search feature, allowing you to specify what you are looking for at an extremely fast level.
  6. You can attach keywords and metadata to any content.
  7. You can love and rate anything that you use or refer to regularly.
  8. You can create a centralized cache to share among collaborators.
  9. You can review your media content in a movie-style workspace.
