Two days after Asus announced it would start selling the first netbook using its dual-core Atom chip, Acer did the same with the Aspire One D255.

Acer's new netbook is equipped with Intel Atom dual-core N550 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, DDR3 RAM, 250GB hard drive clocked at 5,400rpm and integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics chip. like most netbooks with 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and other connections like Wi-Fi standard n, Ethernet 10/100, 3 USB 2.0 ports and VGA output.

Aspire One D255 has 4 colors to choose from: red, black, blue or sandstone. This model comes with a 4,400mAh 6-cell battery that comes with it and sells for $ 399 in the US.
