When information about the official date and time of Intel's new N550 dual-core Atom processor has not been revealed, an Asus netbook using the Atom dual-core D510 processor has leaked out. The Atom D510 processor, which is usually reserved for a compact desktop but integrated into the Eee PC 1215N, is a surprising thing.

The new Asus model is also equipped with Nvidia's latest graphics platform, ION 2, which enables Full HD 1080p video playback and increased 3D graphics processing capabilities.

The Eee PC 1215N has a 12.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels, a VGA and HDMI output port, and especially the latest 3 USD standard 3.0 ports and a memory card reader. This netbook is also one of the first notebooks with Nvidia Optimus technology to switch between Nvidia ION's graphics chip and Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics chip to help improve performance.

The actual image of the Eee PC 1215N version available on the Netbook News, is considered one of the final samples before the official launch. The site also predicts, when available on the market, the Eee PC 1215N may also be integrated with an Intel Atom N550 processor or as an option other than Atom D510.
