Currently, Vietnamese operators such as VNPT, FPT Telecom, CMC Telecom, NetNam, etc. all have plans to transfer traffic to other cable lines, and the international cable running on the mainland is operating stably to ensure service security provided to customers. But it is inevitable that the quality of international Internet services of some customers is still affected because these two international cable lines are occupying a large proportion of Vietnam Internet capacity.
AAG cable route was officially put into operation from November 2009 with a total length of 20,000 km and the design capacity reached 2 Terabit / sec. This is a cable connecting directly to Southeast Asia with the US, cable branch in Vietnam is 314 km long.
APG cable route has a total length of about 10,400 km, APG is capable of bringing Internet speed about 20 times faster than AAG with bandwidth up to 54 Tb / s.
