According to information from VNPT, until 23h50 on June 2, 2018, the repair of the S1H branch of the international optical cable system AAG has been completed, the Vietnam internet has been restored completely and operated stably.

On May 22, 2018, for the second time in 2018, the AAG cable route was in trouble, it had to be repaired. According to the proposed branch S1 of the AAG submarine optical cable, traffic will flow through Vietnam's Vung Tau cable station, which will be repaired in the period from 1/6/2018 to 5/6/2018.
